Social media management for a child care center
Parents check Facebook before they call, and what they are checking is whether the place looks alive and whether anyone has posted since last spring. An abandoned page reads as a closing business. That is the entire reason to do this.
Three posts a week is plenty and the content is already happening in your building. A classroom activity. This week's menu. A teacher spotlight, which also helps hiring, and hiring is a marketing problem in this trade. An openings post for the room you need to fill.
The rules are the hard part. Every child in a photo needs a signed release from that family, and the list has to sit where the person posting can see it. No names, no tags, no nametags in frame. Nothing showing pickup routines, sign-in sheets, license plates or the door code. Faces are optional. Hands at a sensory table, a drying rack of paintings and a playground shot from behind carry a page fine.
Two weeks in, working looks like a page a parent scrolls and thinks, that place is busy and the teachers seem happy.
